Gynecological Care
Women should start annual exams at the age of 21 or sooner if they are sexually active or have other women’s health issues.
ADOLESCENT & WOMEN'S
GYNECOLOGICAL CARE
Women should begin receiving gynecologic care from the time they are in furniture. Many concerns and questions arise which can be discussed at their annual well-woman appointment.
Your annual exam consists of a physical exam: Thyroid exam, breast exam, abdominal exam, and a pelvic exam with a Pap smear beginning at the age of 21. For our curious adolescents and growing teens, preventative care and discussions about growth are very important.
